Welcome to my page!
As an artist with roots in Dominican Republic and first generation born in the United States, my journey has been as colorful and diverse as my work. Growing up, I had the unique opportunity to live in various parts of the country, each place infusing its own inspiration into my art.
My deep and passionate love for art has been a constant throughout my life, evolving with every brushstroke and every canvas.
In 2015, I discovered the richness of oil painting, a medium that has since become my favorite. Although my artistic journey began with acrylic paints when I was just a little girl, I find that oil brings a depth and texture to my work that is unparalleled. Despite this, I still turn to acrylics for certain pieces where oil might not make as much sense.
Now, as one of the few Dominicans residing in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, I continue to draw inspiration from my surroundings and my heritage. My art is a reflection of my experiences and my culture, a fusion of the many places I've called home and the stories they hold.
At the heart of my art lies a commitment to creating paintings that evoke a sensory journey into the beholder. My vision is that my art inspires, energizes, and adds a unique signature to the environment that cannot be found anywhere else. My work transcends the canvas; each piece is an original, one-of-a-kind creation infused with the raw energy of crystals embedded within the design.
My paintings create a visual experience that moves feelings and emotions and can be felt on a deeper level, touching the uniqueness of every individual no matter their background. The paintings are meticulously created and can never be reproduced, offering a true, irreplaceable treasure to those who seek art with depth and meaning.
My principles revolve around authenticity, originality, intentionality, and the belief that art should speak directly to the heart. Each piece radiates a unique energy that tells a story of its own, whispering a different version to every pair of eyes that view it.
September 2024 SAB Gallery Collection show
"Spinning in the Moonlight" 24"x 24" Acrylic. This painting represents protection from all angles even within the unknown, having faith when the course of action is unclear, and knowing that one will be guided to the right direction with faith. There is an obsidian pyramid surrounded by eight pieces of raw black tourmaline, eight tear shaped moonstone crystals, and four clear Quartz pieces on each
"The Sound of Gilded Quartz" 36"x48" Oil on Linen. This is the first of my Crystal Mandala Collection that has actual crystals attached to it. In the center is an Amethyst crystal cluster mounted on a handmade polymer clay base, and surrounded by faceted Rose Quartz pieces. On the outer edges are clear quartz points with rounded amethyst pieces, each on its own petal and dimensionally embroidered
"Malachite Bouquet" 36"x36" Acrylic on Canvas. In the center is a Malachite pyramid surrounded by four large painted tear shaped malachite stones in a golden and bronze bouquet. It juxtaposes softer, curvier features alongside sharp and prominent edges, radiating a balanced energy, which really defines some of what this stone is all about.
"Echos of the Sacred Heart" 24"x24" Oil on canvas. The theme of this painting is forgiveness. There comes a time when forgiveness is needed to transform the darkness (depicted in dark red) into the light. Whether you forgive yourself or someone else, and when ready to do so, the pain ceases and forgiveness creates room for new seeds of love to be born. In the center is a Rhodochrosite piece surrou
"Dream of a Love Kaleidoscope", "36"x48" Acrylic on Canvas. The theme of this painting is gentle love. Pink is one of the colors that reminds me most of gentle love, so I chose to use pink as the predominant color. There are several Rose Quartz and Rhodochrosite crystals throughout the piece, each amplifying the theme of gentle love. The gold petals shimmer in the light, which adds to the feeling
36" x 48" Acrylic on Canvas. I was inspired when I designed and painted a door mural for a Moroccan business, so I decided to design and create a more detailed version on canvas. This piece is made of metalic gold paint with white and yellow accent colors over dark prussian/navy blue. I added Jewels and painted wooden circle pieces that gives the physical painting more texture.
20"x24" Oil on canvas. I painted this piece for a client who had an old, small, and sentimental photo of her parents. My client mentioned how this picture captured a beautiful and romanitc moment between them, and she wanted a larger and cleaner version of it. I was so touched by her story, so I decided to take the opportunity and create my first 20"x24" portrait.
SOLD
24" x 24" Oil on Canvas. This Mandala was inspired by the blue version of the Pectolite stone known as Larimar, which is only found in the Dominican Republic. There are eight pear shaped Larimar stones painted in the middle section. This is the first Mandala painting I ever made, and the first with a crystal theme.

24" x 24" Oil on canvas. This piece was sold to a client who wanted me to make my own version of a fairy forest. If you look closely, you can see small fairies scattered around!
